The Page-Johnson Family

We arrived at the #AJ Workshop, feeling both nervous and excited. We were strangers to one another other… each with our own insecurities, each of us with our own reasons for being there. But after two days together of learning, crying, encouraging and supporting one another, we left as more than just friendly photographers… we left as friends.

I met Gabi at the Amy and Jordan workshop back in July. I remember seeing her and thinking that she was the cutest and shortest little spunky person ever haha And when we left Scottsdale, we learned that we were both from Tucson so our goodbyes were not really forever.

The next time I found myself in Tucson, she told me to send her a message so that we could meet up and talk about our businesses. Now, this journey has been an interesting one for me… one where I have had to face a ton of fears and insecurities. But Gabi’s genuine support and excitement for me to grow, gave me such comforting encouragement that has helped push and challenge me. I’m forever thankful for her dear friendship so when she asked me to take some family photos for her I was SUPER excited!! The thought of another photographer wanting me to take their photos made me nervous, but after meeting Tom, I knew this would be a super fun session.

You guys, their little family is just beyond fun and cute! The entire time, they were joking around, laughing and genuinely having fun which made my job super easy! I can’t say it enough… I just LOVE having such joyful clients!! This session was extra special as well because Tom had just returned from serving in Afghanistan a few weeks before!

Their energy was super fun and contagious. Tom is such a goof (Sorry, Tom! hahah Search your feelings, you know it to be true!) with the coolest rock collection EVER! hahaha And with Gabi’s spunk and beautiful smile, and Dash’s cool kid vibe… this session was family goals for sure! Dash educated us all on the new dance craze call the Dab…? haha We  “wow-ee wow wow wow-ed” our way though the entire afternoon and the desert glow showed off its unique beauty. My cheeks hurt after getting home from having laughed so much.

Thank you so much, Gabi, for trusting me to photograph your beautiful family. Truly, it was such an honor for me! Hope you enjoy some highlights from our time together!

… and thanks for being so awesome! You guys are the best! And Tom, thank you for so bravely serving our country and being the hero in both Gabi and Dash’s life! ❤
