Creating magic together and images that truly represent and reflect who you are comes from having trust and a connection with me. And what it boils down to with me is this:
what you should expect.
I firmly believe that getting to know my couples beforehand to make sure we're the best fit for each other is the #1 way to ensure that you love your images and the whole experience. So whether this is your first time hiring a photographer or not, there are a few things you should know first...
I cherish real moments & the value of being genuine.
It fills my heart to the brim to catch brief moments in time that will serve as REMINDERS– reminders of how much my couples love one another in moments that they need it most and by extension, to encourage, enrich, & strengthen their marriages through capturing images that are authentic and honest. I want to preserve memories and make a lasting impact. I want to capture the most special, intimate and meaningful time in my clients’ lives, and give them something that will last a lifetime- give them a legacy they can share.
As a wedding photographer, I get to meet the greatest couples at the beginning of a new chapter in their love stories and get to know them on a personal level and then cheer them on during their wedding day. My goal as your photographer is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Before your wedding day, I will be there to help with timelines, be a soundboard for any ideas you have, share tons of info on how to get ready for your wedding, and provide vendor recommendations. On your wedding day, I will be there to help shake out the nerves, fluff your dress, and get you hyped and maybe even give you an energy bar if you forgot to eat! Whether guidance comes in the form of something little or small, I want to help make this experience as stress-free as possible.
I keep emphasizing how important it is to establish a good connection between us for a good reason. When my couples are relaxed and having a good time and enjoying themselves, they feel the most natural, at ease and their expressions are more genuine. Most my couples usually show up saying how awkward they are and how they hate getting their pictures taken... buuuut by the end they’re going on about how easy, fun and fast it was. Getting photos taken for a coupla hours really doesn’t have to suck, I promise, and I will make sure of it. You bet your bottom dollar I will! Because my style is less forced, posed and instead more organic, you don't feel as weird and stiff. It just feels like you're hanging out.
I'm not just another wedding vendor for you and I want photography to be more than something you have to check off your list. After all is said and done, and everyone goes home, photography really is the only thing that lasts after your wedding day. The number one thing I hear from couples who decided to go for someone cheap say they regret it and wish they would have invested and prioritized photography. Honestly, over time it’s something that will only increase in value as the images get passed down for generations to come. This is your legacy. This is something that will last a lifetime.
I offer easily customizable collections that can be made to fit your day perfectly. Customizations can include a second photographer, more/less hours, albums, rehearsal coverage, boudoir session etc.
All collections come with professionally edited hi-res images, delivered via a personalized online gallery that can be shared with family and friends. I never use watermarks and you are free to download and print your photos as much as you would like.
A portrait package includes any type of anniversary session, engagement, boudoir and maternity! Duration is usually around an hour and a half and it can be in the location of your choice! I love shooting in outdoor locations because the light is incredible. There are super rad spots around Tucson like Mount Lemmon, Saguaro National Park, and the lavender fields of Oracle! If you’re looking for options around the state, I am always up for exploring a new spot together.
Similar to a portrait package, the family package is usually around an hour and a half and it can be in the location of your choice! Most of my family clients want to showcase the natural beauty of Arizona. I especially love shooting in the desert and up in Mount Lemmon because it’s so unique and the light is incredible. There are also other great options around the state, and I am always up for exploring a new spot together.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you travel? Where are you located?
I’m based out of Tucson, Arizona, but I love traveling and am actually on the road quite a bit. So if I’m already going to be in or near an area you’ve always dreamed of doing your photos, and we can coordinate our schedules, let’s set it up. I’d love to make it work!
If you’d like me to meet you in a destination outside of Arizona where I don’t already have plans to visit, just let me know and we can customize a wedding package that fits perfectly for your day!
How many images will we receive and when will we get them?
In short, a whole lotta’ images! The number of photos varies from wedding to wedding and it depends on how many hours I’m shooting and all of the events of the day! Typically though, I deliver anywhere from 70-100 images per hour. Within one week of your wedding, you will have a sneak peek that I will publish on my social media platforms. The final images will be delivered 6-8 weeks after your wedding in an online gallery personalized for you.
How do we book you?
The booking process is quite simple actually! All I require to reserve your wedding date is a signed contract and a 40% retainer. Once both are received, then it’s official! The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding date with payments done between. For a portrait or family session, the full investment is due in order to reserve your date. I accept cash and paypal transfers.
Do you only shoot weddings?
I absolutely love weddings and my heart is filled to the brim afterwards! But, I also love engagements, anniversaries, maternity, family and boudoir! Shoot me a message for more info!
What is your shooting style?
I love being both interactive and discreet throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you shouldn’t even know that I’m there. Overall though, my goal is to create photos in a photojournalistic and unobtrusive way to help you to remember the day as it really happened.
