…With you I’d dance in a storm in my best dress fearless! And that is EXACTLY what Lindsay and Nicki did on their wedding this past Saturday. Boy oh boy! Am I excited to share this blog post! Why? Well, it’s only because Lindsay has been my best friend since KINDERGARTEN and I was the one that shot her wedding!! AHH!
Hello, world. Are you out there? It’s me, Sue. It’s been a while since I have done any blogging, but despite my social media disappearance, I’ve been a busy bee! Blogging was one of those things that became a little overwhelming and I needed to take some space to clear my head for a while and re-focus my energies. But I couldn’t think of a better reason to come back than for SAYLEEN and GARY’S WEDDING! AHHHH!! YOU GUYS!!
She walked into the cafe where their first date was set. He looked at her for the first time and it didn’t take long for him to know that she was the woman he wanted to marry. She was the woman he wanted to be with with, laugh with, confide in, and grow with. Monica was the cookie butter to his ice cream. And if you know anything about cookie butter, you KNOW that’s serious business… Continue reading
Sometimes love comes when you least expect it and in ways you’ve never imagined. That was the case with Monica and Daniel who’s modern romance made me swell up with such genuine joy. It’s not always that you hear about such authentic love connections made through tinder, but these two are the exception for sure. After swiping right on each other, they had their first date at Monica’s favorite little local coffee shop called Casa Madrid. And despite only having just met, Daniel knew from their first date that he wanted to marry her. Continue reading
He gathered old photos of the two of them, remembering the early years of their relationship. Gary wanted to make something special for his long time girlfriend, Sayleen- a scrapbook depicting their 10 year journey together was the perfect way to show their history… a history filled with many adventures, many twists and turns and ups and downs. They had so many memories marked by sweet laughs and joyful times. As he was preparing to make Sayleen’s anniversary gift, he did so with the intention that this would be one she would never forget… Continue reading

Though I couldn’t see his face, I could tell he was a bit nervous by his posture… and truth be told, I was nervous too. The excitement was building. I was getting closer. I stopped for a second to take to take it all in. The day had felt a little crazy up until this moment. It hadn’t started as smooth as I had hoped for. I was feeling a little anxious from all of the movement and people and opinions… but that moment… away from everybody except for him… it was ours. Me and him. Continue reading
If you’ve been following my journey on instagram at all, you know that one of my goals is to participate in more styled shoots this year. So when my friend and fellow photographer, Stephanie, told me she was planning on visiting Arizona and was wanting to organize one I immediately said YES!
Happy New Year, friends!
After a little break for the holidays and more than enough holiday treats in my belly to last the entire year of 2017, I return to the blog with so much thankfulness that I could explode with love! A few years ago, I never thought I would be living out my dreams of being a photographer and loving my job so much, connecting with such amazing people, and getting to document such special moments. And now… I am! I feel like Fearless, Speak Now and Red Era Taylor Swift winning an award! hahaha Continue reading
